Goals
- Modify the BlueSky framework to work in a web-service architecture.
- Put the resulting web-service based models up on the web for public use.
- Create simple sample applications and other documentation on how to use these web-service based models.
- Create a full-fledged game-playing application for use by the smoke modeling community as a way to demostrate the capabilities of such a "service oriented architecture"
Highlights
- BlueSky now fully web-service enabled starting with version 3.1.0
- Example webpage including documentation created and available on web
- BlueSky Playground advanced game-playing application created and available on web
- Documentation including FAQ, technical documentation, and tutorials available on web
Possible Future Work (outside of project)
- Connect BlueSky Playground to meteorological archive
- Created tailored interfaces for various user groups
- Connect with IFT-DSS system
- Connect with WFDSS
- Place on operational servers
